Popular 50pf and 100pf small air variable capacitors
with built in vernier reduction drive


AVC50VD

 Ideal for QRP rigs. Many QRP circuits call for a small 50pf or 100pf air variable. These are ideal. Mounting is through tapped holes in the bottom, front, or rear of the frame or through the use of mounting studs. Vernier provides precision and smooth fine tuning. The vernier drive provides a rotation of about 8:1. That is a 360 degree rotation of the shaft, results in only a 45 degree movement of the rotor. Using a system of rolling balls rather then gears the vernier creates little friction. Shaft is 1/4" Diameter X 3/4" long. A very high quality capacitor. Air gap is .010" and rated for 350V.

3 Gang Variable Capacitor
12-320pf, 12-100pf, 12-235pf
Compact variable capacitor used in a variety of amateur and shortwave radios. Can be  used in Superhet and T.R.F. radio circuits along with many QRP radio receivers and transmitters. Solid construction with heavy duty aluminum plates and low loss bakelite insulation, ball bearing drive shaft. An added bonus are the side trimmers which allow adjustment of +/- 5pf in the capacitance. Capacitance range is 12-320pf, 12-100pf, & 12-235pf.

TECH TIP 1: This capacitor is very flexible when you need a different value of capacitance for 
your project. In addition to the 3 popular values the capacitance has you can tie various sections 
together for other values. For example, do you need a 400pf             variable capacitor? Tie the 
320pf section with the 100pf section. Need a 650pf cap, just tie the 320pf section with 
the 235pf/100pf section.
