Creating a negative of your Printed Circuit, positive artwork was once a serious chore; and hit or miss at best! Now we offer a film that eliminates several steps and is totally dependable. Perfect images every time! Finally, you can enjoy the freedom and economy of spraying your own PC boards with our high precision, negative-acting photo resist. You can spray boards of any size, any shape. Save money, time; and you can cut, size and shape your PC boards before coating and exposing.

Using new Neg-Fast© Film:
1. To produce a negative from a magazine article, you may either cut the magazine PC board pattern from the magazine or make a copier photocopy of it. Place the PC board pattern on top of the fill in a Contact Exposure Frame and expose to U/V light; Datak no. ER-2000 bulb is recommended. Exposure time is about four minutes.

2. To produce a negative from your (black on transparent) positive, in an Exposure Frame, place the positive on top of the film and expose for 1 1/2 minutes.

3. After either step one or two above, develop the film according to instructions in the Datak developer (no. 12-710). Then you are ready to use Datak Negative Photo Resist, which is sprayed on your PC board with the pump-sprayer included. Use Datak ER-8 developer after the resist is exposed to the ER-2000 bulb.

NEGATIVE RESIST DEVELOPER

is a solvent based developer that will remove the resist from areas not hardened by the U/V light. This 8 oz. package will develop hundreds of square inches of board, dependent upon such factors as area coverage and thickness of the coat.
