Datak Direct Etch Patterns allow you to make PC Boards without creating artwork. Apply DE-series patterns directly to the copper PC board surface by rubbing them down in the circuit pattern that you want. Connect between component patterns either with rub-down, DE-series lines or with edge resist tapes. DE-series resolution is superb; resists lines down to .015" etch cleanly with about .001" undercut in a manual etch bath; far better in a spray etch tank. These packages, all of which have part numbers beginning with a "DE-" prefix, contain two identical sheets (1.5" x 5") of patterns. Burnished directly onto copper surface; circuits typically etch with less than .001" undercut. DE-series patterns may also be used for 1:1 PC artwork.

DIP UNIVERSAL PATTERNS
A universal pattern can be used to make an entire family of component footprints. For example, the DE-16 may be used to make any DIP from 8 to 64 pins with or without traces by simply burnishing down the desired number of pads and traces from the appropriately spaced set of columns.
